A BENEFIT SHOW IN SUPPORT OF THE KIDS MOVEMENT PROJECT
An Evening of Impact is our signature gala event, bringing together dancers, families, and supporters to celebrate artistry, performance, and the joy of movement. This annual event is designed to inspire, uplift, and unite our community, all while making a tangible difference in the lives of students through The Kids Movement Project.
The Kids Movement Project (TKMP) is the outreach division of Impact, created to bring high-quality dance and movement education to children who otherwise may never have access. Through school partnerships, free community classes, and sponsorship initiatives, TKMP provides more than dance — it offers belonging, confidence, and a place to move, grow, and dream.
Why It Matters
Today, 1 in 4 schools in the United States no longer offer any arts or physical movement programs.
Research shows that children who participate in consistent movement-based arts experience:
20% higher academic performance
Improved emotional regulation and focus
Greater self-esteem and social connection
Yet millions of children lose these opportunities due to budget cuts, lack of resources, or inequitable access.
Our Mission
TKMP ensures that movement is not a privilege — it’s a right.
We believe every child deserves:
A space to move
A place to express
A chance to belong
Through donor support and community partnerships, The Kids Movement Project brings dance directly to schools, shelters, and community centers, planting seeds of confidence, discipline, and joy.
How TKMP CreateS Impact
Contributions to The Kids Movement Project directly support initiatives that bring movement, creativity, and safe spaces to children who need them most. Through your generosity, we are able to:
Bring Free Dance & Movement Classes into underfunded schools and community centers
Provide Scholarships for children who show passion but face financial barriers
Upgrade School & Community Play Spaces — including playground renovations, safe dance flooring, mats, and equipment
Support Mental & Emotional Wellness programming through movement, mentorship, and confidence-building workshops
Activate Youth Leadership by involving Impact Collective dancers in teaching, outreach, and community service
TKMP ensures that every child — regardless of zip code — has a place to move, express, and belong.
