Impact School of Dance Performance is dedicated to developing disciplined, thoughtful dancers through focused training and strong character.

Character and Commitment

  • Dancers are expected to arrive on time and ready to work.

  • Respect for instructors, fellow dancers, and the studio environment is required.

  • Consistent attendance is essential for student progress and expected to support both individual growth and group progress.

  • A positive and focused attitude is expected in all classes.

Dress Code

Dancers are expected to arrive in proper attire for each class to support focus, and overall training quality.

general guidelines

  • Hair must be secured neatly away from the face in a ponytail, bun, or similar style.

  • NO JEWELRY, INCLUDING WATCHES BRACELETS AND NECKLACES. small studs permitted.

Ballet Technique

  • Solid Black leotard

  • Skintone Ballet tights

  • CANVAS BALLET SHOES

  • Hair pulled neatly away from the face into a secured bun

Jazz Theater TECHNIQUE

  • black leotard with black shorts or leggings

  • full length black tanks and all blACK BIKE TARDS ARE ACCEPTABLE

  • SKINTONE Jazz shoes

  • Hair secured away from the face INTO PONYTAIL OR SIMILAR STYLE

PERFORMANCE CONDITIONING

  • Athletic, form-fitting attire

  • neutral colors

  • Barefoot or socks (as directed)

  • Hair secured neatly away from the face

Withdrawal policy

  • A minimum of 30 days’ written notice is required to withdraw from the program. Tuition will continue to be billed during the notice period.

  • Upon withdrawal, families remain responsible for 50% of the remaining tuition for the season.

  • All fees, including enrollment and costume fees, are non-refundable.

Performance & Wellness Guidelines

Dancers are expected to arrive prepared to train at their highest level. Proper hydration and nutrition are essential to support focus, energy, and overall performance.

  • On training and workshop days, dancers should bring water and a balanced MEAL OR snack . Meals should support sustained energy and may include items such as lean proteins, fruits, vegetables, and whole grains.

  • Fast food, sugary drinks, and heavily processed snacks are discouraged prior to and during training, as they can negatively impact performance and focus.

These guidelines are in place to help dancers build habits that support both their training and long-term development.

Parent OBSERVATION

  • Classes are closed to observation in order to maintain a focused training environment.

  • A final observation will be held at the conclusion of the intensive for families to view the dancers’ progress.

  • Additional details will be emailed two weeks in advance.

pricing and PAYMENTS

  • A costume fee of $85 per class will be charged on October 1, 2026. This fee covers the cost of performance costumes for the season.

  • An annual enrollment fee of $35 per dancer is required at the time of registration to secure placement in the program.

  • Registration is not considered complete until payment is received.

  • Tuition for the 2026-2027 are charged monthly through automatic billing. It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to ensure a valid payment method is on file.

    In the event of a failed or declined payment, the account must be updated and payment completed within 3 days.

    A $15 late fee may be applied to overdue balances.
